A Community To Call Home
The HGC Heritage Foundation (HGC), managed by a team of dedicated volunteer residents, is a residents’ association that benefit the more than 400 households in the areas of Hurlingham, Glenadrienne and Craighall in Johannesburg, South Africa.
A registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) under the Income Tax Act, the HGC oversees a number of projects and portfolios aiming to create a secure, clean and efficiently-run suburb for all our residents. By joining HGC, your contributions (which are tax deductible) ensure this neighbourhood remains the safe, beautiful, sought-after neighbourhood it is today.
Security Portfolio
The HGC Residents' Association manages a local security contract. This integrated security solution has dramatically reduced criminal activity in our suburb over the past 20+ years.
Environmental Management
The Braamfontein Spruit is a green belt right on our doorstep and HGC ensures that it remains a clean, safe space to be enjoyed by cyclists, dog walkers and runners.
Building Compliance
We oversee and monitor compliance with our Precinct Plan, compliance of land use, zoning and building plans, we also co-ordinate the submission of objections to the City.
